Description
Magnus, king of Man and the Isles, to Sir Richard, bishop of Man and the Isles; has given liberty to hold court; clergy and laity may be free of all service, secular exaction and demand, forfeiture and fine. He has also given Island of St Patrick, with villa of 'Kellcrast next to Ramsey' (Lezayre, now Churchtown?) with half fishery there in 'Muschoch' (Myroscough) and has granted that Richard and his clergy or farmers may have full power over their teinds, to sell and dispose of whenever it shall seem expedient; has given lead and iron mines which may be discovered on his land of Man
