Description
John of Allegate, clerk, sub-sheriff of Roxburgh, has received from Sir James de Dalilegh 100s. to give earnest for some victuals to be bought for the use of Sir John of Brittany, the king’s lieutenant in Scotland. Simon de Blakeshale, constable of Roxburgh Castle, has received from Sir James de Dalilegh £10 to be paid for victuals to be bought for the use of Sir John of Brittany, the king’s lieutenant in Scotland. Also £20 in deposit under Sir James’s seal.
