Description
The king to his clerk, John of Leek, elect of Dunkeld. He has been informed that the £200 which he gave him to forward his election at the Roman court by an order on the constable of Bordeaux, is said to have been received by the Treasurer of Agen as the bishop’s attorney, but not yet paid to him, to his great damage and his own regret. Commands him forthwith to inform him whether he appointed the treasurer his attorney, and whether the money is unpaid in whole or in part, as he is much aggrieved at the delay.
