Description
John of Lamberton, son of the late Richard of Lamberton makes known that he holds and binds himself to Sir Edward, king of England, for 12 bolls of good wheat paid from within the castle of Stirling at Michaelmas 1296, that is, for those 12 bolls of wheat which he received by loan of the said king from Thomas de Cormayl his clerk, per visum of Sir David Grant, then sheriff of Stirling.
