Description
The king makes known that for the circumspection and industry of his sworn-man, John de Warenne, earl of Surrey, his guardian of the realm and land of Scotland, he has granted and committed power that, with the counsel of the king’s clerks, Walter de Agmondesham, chancellor, and Hugh de Cressingham, treasurer of the said realm and land, he may present to certain churches and other benefices belonging to the king’s collation and donation, up to a value of 40 marks.
