The writer hears for a certainty that they will obey […] if the guardian frequently sees that no harm be done to them. […] and Sir Henry de Percy have said that the king has commanded them to cross the sea with him. The earl [of Warenne] has offered Sir [...] to keep the realm of Scotland. The knight […] it may be that he will go across the sea with the king. If the earl and Sir Henry should come across the sea for these […] so much to do with the king of France. If it pleases the king, he should charge and enjoin his treasurer of Scotland to undertake the keeping of the realm until he can dispatch a great lord to place there.
