Description
King Edward has given and granted and by the tenor of the present established to his sworn-man, Alexander Lindsay, knight, from [the lands] which belonged to James, lately steward of Scotland, to have of the king and his heirs in perpetuity. Alexander and his heirs shall make custom and service to the king which pertains to those lands.
