Description
The king to the sheriff of Cumberland. As John de Geveleston lately gave to his son, Dougal, the custody of lands in Hoton-John, which were William of Hoton's deceased, till the majority of the heir, and he was in peaceful possession till the late mandate as to Scotsmen's lands in England, the king at Master John of Caen's request, commands these to be restored to Dougal.
