Description
Robert Clifford, warden of Annandale, writes to Master Richard de Abingdon the king's treasurer at Carlisle, having ordered that the crossbowmen shall remain at Lochmaben under Sir Robert de Felton's command, he requests that they have fifteen days' pay in advance, to be given to their companions who are coming from Carlisle, that the latter may make provision for all, etc.
