Description
The king to W., bishop of Chester his treasurer, and Master William of Greenfield, chancellor. John, earl of Atholl his cousin, whom he has received into his peace, informs him that the manor of Lesnes in Kent, descends to him on the death of Joanna, widow of Richard of Dover. Commands them to advise on the earl’s claim.
