Description
The king writes to the prince noting that he understands by the letters which the prince has sent him by the present bearer that he has despatched Sir Alexander of Abernethy with 40 men-at-arms into Strathearn and Menteith and towards Drypp’ to complete the guard which is appointed there in those parts, and to afford the assistance and all good counsel possible. The king is well satisfied.
