Description
King to Master William of Greenfield, chancellor, having learned that Gilbert son of William son of Gilbert and Adam Lyder, burgesses of Aberdeen, were taken about St Nicholas' Day 1302 at Fyvele near Scarborough, in a ship freighted with goods designed for the Scottish rebels, etc., commands their immediate release at request of John earl of Atholl.
