Description
The king to the earl of Strathearn, commands him especially to see that the fords of the Forth and country around be guarded with horse and foot, so that they enemy on the other side cannot injure the people on this at the king's peace. And after this business is arrayed, summons him to his parliament in as plain a manner and with as few people as he can, leaving the bulk of his forces on the above business. Similar to earl of Menteith, earl of Lennox, Abbot of Dunfermline, Sir Alexander of Abernethy and William Bisset.
