Description
The king to Sir Henry Percy, having appointed his own valet, William Bisset, sheriff of Clackmannan, and given him the keeping of the country and orders to strengthen the walls at Tolyalwyn, for which he is providing, the king hears Percy's people have come there, and wish to eject him. Wherefore as this will be to the king's damage and grievance of the country people if William is turned out from a place where he has spent money and made provision, he begs Percy for his love to allow Bisset to remain and attend to his duties.
