Description
The king to Sir Robert de Leyburn, constable of the castle of Inverkip and warden of the earl of Lincoln’s lands in Scotland, or to the lieutenant of the same: Learning that his baillies and people there are neglecting the commands of the king’s officers in regard to necessities, especially the engines and stones for the siege of Stirling, and order is not taken for remedy, the siege being thereby greatly delayed, he commands him on pain of forfeiture to seize at Glasgow all the iron and great stones of the engines there, and forward them to Stirling without any manner of excuse or delay.
