Description
Memorandum that the king has appointed that Sir Robert Clifford shall abide in the company of Sir John de St John at Lochmaben by stated terms. This indenture was made at Charlton on 2 January 1300 of which indenture one part remains in the wardrobe of the king, sealed with the seal of the said Robert; and the other part remains with the said Robert, sealed with the king’s Privy Seal.
