Description
The king to John, earl of Surrey, keeper of the realm and land of Scotland. The pope having by bull directed to the king appointed Master Thomas of Dundee, canon of Ross, to the bishopric, the king approving and taking his fealty, commands the earl to deliver the temporalities. Writ to the knights, freeholders, and others to obey him as their bishop and lord.
