Document 5/1/0 (CDS, v, no. 261)

Description
Privy seal writ from Edward I to John of Droxford, keeper of the wardrobe. Ralph de Manton has informed John by letter of the state of the king’s supplies. John is ordered to do all he can to make hasty purveyance for the king’s stay in Scotland ‘this season’. It should be great enough to allow the queen and prince of Wales to stay with the king.
