Description
Letter from Aymer de Valence, to John Langton chancellor, certifies that Sir Stephen de Appeltreffeld is in his company on the king’s service in Scotland and requests a protection for him as for others in the king’s service to be delivered to the bearer, since Sir Stephen must shortly go to the south of England, where he is impleaded, and will suffer loss without this protection.
