Description
Draft privy seal writ from King Edward I to the constable of Edinburgh. Orders him to send all the great ‘targes’ of his castle which he thinks are suitable for assaulting a castle, so that the king has them as his coming to Stirling. Memorandum of a similar writ to the constable of Berwick.
