Description
King Edward writes to the sheriff of London concerning the payment of expenses of Scottish prisoners in Tower, including William, earl of Ros, Andrew de ‘Morpenne’, John de Mowbray, Nicholas Randolph, the king’s enemies, captured in the Scottish war and imprisoned in the Tower of London. Witness J. of Droxford, etc. as reported by P. de Willoughby, chancellor of the exchequer.
