Description
Laurence of Cramond confirms to Ralph of Dundee the donation made to him of ‘Kethirmalyn’ of the tenement of Melgund (Aberlemno parish, ANG) by Yvette daughter of William Chaunterel her father, performing for himself and his heirs or assignees the aid (auxilium) and army-service (exercitum) to the lord king with the holding of Melgund as much pertains to the said land of ‘Kethirmalyn’ for ward, relief, and all other secular service exaction or demand. Warrandice clause. Sealed with Laurence’s seal and that of the lord abbot of Scone.
