Description
Account of Robert of Fawdon, sheriff of Northumberland. Paid to a carpenter, a mason, an engineer, a bowyer, a smith and a watchman, going from Northumberland to the garrison of Stirling castle, in October last, 29s. 6d.; and to David of Glen, Adam of Cunningham and William of Ireland, Scottish prisoners in Newcastle-on-Tyne, their allowance at 2d. daily for a year prior to Michaelmas last, £9 2s.
