Description
The king to the sheriff of Nottingham. As Matthew Renfrew, John Prest of Peebles, and Robert of Menteith, Scottish prisoners in Nottingham castle, have been maliciously accused of robberies by an approver, whereby their allowance has been stopped, he commands the sheriff to pay them, not wishing to aggravate their condition, and dismiss the charge.
