Description
Warrant for Alexander of Bassenthwaite, late sheriff of Cumberland, for monies paid to Reginald son of Alexander Lindsay, Alexander his brother, Adam of Cunningham, Henry Gurle, Ralph of Cunningham and Christian of Strathearn, Scots prisoners in Carlisle castle, at 2d. per day, from 27 March 1307 till 4th September following, when the last four were delivered from prison to go where they would; and thereafter to Reginald and Alexander till 1 December last.
