Description
Warrant for the late sheriff of York, for £4 18s. 6d. allowed to Geoffrey Edgar and Nicholas of Dunsyre, Scottish prisoners in York castle, from 16 March 1310 till Michaelmas following, at 3d. each daily. 42s. cost of bringing Walter Murray, a Scottish prisoner from Nottingham to Newcastle, under escort of Sir William de Somerville with 4 horses and 5 archers; and 47s. 6d. cost of bringing Fergus of Ardrossan and William Giffard and 2 grooms, Scottish prisoners, with their escort of 5 horses and 10 archers from Nottingham to Newcastle.
