Account of Walter de Scudemore, late sheriff of Somerset and Dorset, octaves of St John Baptist, 6th year. Respite of £12 paid to Elizabeth Bruce wife of Robert Bruce, for expenses of herself and retinue for 12 weeks (6th year) at 20s. a week; £6 16s. 4d. p aid to William Murray, knight, a Scottish prisoner in Corfe castle, from Easter 4th year till 15 March following when liberated – 329 days at 4d. daily; and 20s. for his dress for same time.
