Description
The king, overlord of Scotland, makes known that he has assigned William de Grandson his lieutenant to receive the oaths of fealty of the abbots, priors, knights and others, etc. in the sheriffdom of Roxburgh. And in the same manner, he assigns the same William to receive the oaths of fealty of the burgesses and good men of Roxburgh.
