Document 5/1/0 (Rot. Scot., i, 33a (3))

Description
The king writes to the sheriff of Edinburgh. Because it is testified before him by Master John of Caen that Obert of Oldcastle of Lumbard, canon of Dunkeld, is of the household of the lord G. de Parma, bishop of Sabina, cardinal of the Roman Church and is delayed at the Roman Court, the sheriff is commanded that the teinds of the villa of Leny (PER) which belong to Obert’s canonry and are in the king’s hand, are to be returned to him or his attorney without delay.
