Description
Alexander, king of Scots, for Melrose Abbey; has granted that grant and confirmation that Alexander, Steward of Scotland, has made of donation that Richard le Waleys, tenant of Alexander (the Steward), made to Melrose of his land of Barmuir (Tarbolton, AYR) and 'Godenech'; also grant and quitclaim that Alexander made to monks, of suit of his court, and of liberty of buying and selling, and of toll, and to hold their courts and pleas in their tenement of Cairn Table (AYR), and Mauchline (AYR), and Barmuir, and to take the fines, amercements and escheats of the pleas.
