Description
Alexander, king of Scots, to his justiciars, sheriffs, grieves and their bailies; commands that monks of Melrose, their lands, their men, and all their possessions, rights, and goods in addressees' bailliaries and burghs be justly maintained and defended, not allowing anybody to disturb them; and if there be any forfeiture to monks, addressees should cause it to be paid without delay
