Description
Petition by Sir Norman Leslie, knight, showing the king how he was bound in 300 marks sterling to Philip de Mowbray, to whom Sir John Comyn had given the petitioner’s lands and chattels because he was the king’s liege. He has paid £40 of this, and Philip demands the balance. He prays the king to order him to cease his demand and give up his obligation.
