Description
Robert, king of Scots, writes to William, bishop of St Andrews, asking him to appropriate to Dunfermline abbey the church of Kinross and the chapel of Orwell (KNR), due to the disruptions caused by war, and in order to honour the tombs of his predecessors the kings of Scots and his own burial place which he has specially chosen.
