Robert, king of Scots, has given to Melrose abbey his whole tenement and land of Lessudden (ROX), in free and perpetual alms, with the tenancies, services, suits, homages, wards, reliefs and marriages of the freeholders of Maxpoffle, Heavyside, 'Wodfordhuses' (in Woodford), Elliston (ROX), and others, saving prayers.
