Description
Robert, king of Scots, to his justiciar north of the Scottish sea (the Firth of Forth), and the sheriff of Perth and his baillies of Gowrie, noting that the good and faithful assise of responsible and faithful men of the country, in front of Thomas Randolph earl of Moray and lord of Man and Annandale, his justiciar north of the Forth has ascertained that the abbot and convent of Scone was saised in the time of King Alexander III of the tenth of all his profits of justice from both the justiciar and sheriff courts in Gowrie, in perpetual alms. He commands and instructs them to make the necessary payments.
