Description
Robert, king of Scots, for the salvation of his soul and of the souls of all his ancestors and successors and especially for the soul of his father, whose body is entombed in the church of the Blessed Mary of Holm [Cultram], has given and quitclaimed to Holm Cultram abbey an annual ferme of ten pounds sterling, which they were accustomed to receive from the lords of Buittle for lands and holdings in Galloway, holding in pure and perpetual alms.
