Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given to the blessed virgin Mary and the church of the Holy Trinity and Saint Margaret Queen of Scotland of Dunfermline the right of patronage of the vicar of the church of Inverkeithing (FIF), which was forfeited by the late Roger de Mowbray knight, saving intercessory prayers. He also gives the new great custom of all their lands in his kingdom, of the burghs of Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Musselburgh and Queensferry. The monks may have their cocket according to the liberties of their regality. For this donation of the said custom, a candle will be kept burning forever in honor of God, the blessed virgin Mary, and blessed Margaret.
