Description
Robert, king of Scots, to the municipal officials (scabinis) and masters of the burgh and the whole community of Bruges (Flanders), notifying that he has granted to Dunfermline abbey his great custom from all their lands within his kingdom in pure and perpetual alms. He asks the merchants of Flanders or other merchants to accept the cocket seal of the said religious men as the royal one is.
