Description
Robert, king of Scots, has granted to John, by the grace of God, bishop of Brechin, and the chapter and canons of the church of Holy Trinity of Brechin that they may have their market in the city of Brechin every Sunday, as it was granted by his predecessors the kings of Scotland and as fully as it was held in the time of Alexander [III], king of Scotland, his predecessor. He commands his officers to maintain and defend them in this liberty.
