Description
Robert, king of Scots, has given the Carmelite friars the chapel of Blessed Mary beside Banff (BNF) with the land (solum) belonging to it for them to build their church and houses for them to live in. He also gives that davoch of land which customarily pertained to that chapel to provide bread, wine, and wax, saving the teinds of the church of Inverboyndie (BNF) to the mother church of Banff; having and holding in pure and perpetual alms, as freely as any alms in the kingdom of Scotland, saving to the king their prayers.
