Description
Robert, king of Scots, notifying that he has granted and does grant by these present [letters] right of free entry and exit to merchants of the territories of William count of Hainault, Holland and Zeeland and lord of Frisia who wish to come to his kingdom with their merchandise, at any port in the kingdom, willing that they and their ships and merchandise be received according to the laws and customs of his kingdom. He wills that the merchants are not to be arrested for any debts. He firmly prohibits anyone from injuring them under pain of his full forfeiture.
