Description
Robert, king of Scots, has granted that agreement which William Fraser, knight, made with our beloved and faithful Roger son of Finlay of that whole land that William had on the east side of 'Cossalays' (Calzeat?) and its mills with grain and fulling, and seven acres of his demesne meadow on the same side of the burn and an eighth of an acre which the fuller held with the curtain-maker's cottage and with two acres of arable land that Richard the webster holds, namely, one north of the church beside 'Catillanaurum', the other in Mathew's croft, and the house and garden of the webster, with common pasture of the vill of Drumelzier (PEB) for sixteen cows and other animals; reserving to William the remaining meadow of his demesne east of the 'Cossalays' water; for sixteen years. Saving the king's service.
