Description
Robert, king of Scots, with competent deliberation, has diligently inspected and truly understood the charter of King David I to Jedburgh abbey and found it to be neither erased, nor cancelled, nor in any way destroyed, in the following words: [Chrs David I, no. 172; H1/4/95]. He has approved, ratified, and confirmed this in pure and perpetual alms.
