Robert, king of Scots, has granted and established by these present letters those agreements that John of Kirkintilloch made to William of Douglas son and heir of the late James of Douglas of Lothian knight over the mortgaging of the land of Whitefield in the sheriffdom of Peebles (PEB) for nine years, as contained in the charter John made for William, saving the king's service.
