This single-sided seal depicts Thomas front face and bareheaded, with a beard and whiskers, wearing a dalmatic with slit sides and fringed edges, and a maniple. He is holding to his chest with both hands a book, and standing on a corbel between two trees; a shield with arms (now obliterated) hangs from each tree.
