This single-sided seal depicts the earl on horseback to *sinister* wearing chain armour, a conical helmet and shows with pointed toes, holding a lance sloping backward with a pennon with three tails and a device apparently of four roundels in his right hand, and his reigns and shield, with inside shown, in his left.
