John, bishop of Glasgow (d.1147)

Biography
Watt and Murray, Fasti, 189: John occurs as chaplain to Earl David around 1114 and was probably put forward to election to the see of Glasgow upon Bishop Michael's death. He secured his consecration by Pope Paschal before his death on 21 January 1118. He was back in Scotland by 1 May 1118 and is last found at Coldingham (BWK) on 3 May 1147. He died before 24 August 1147 and was buried at Jedburgh.
