William Soulis, knight, justiciar of Lothian (d.1292/3)

Biography
son of Nicholas (d.1265), elder brother of John, later guardian of Scotland. William was sheriff of Roxburgh, 1289 (ER, i). He died circa 1292-3. He had a son called Nicholas (d.1296) who married Margaret, daughter of Alexander Comyn of Buchan. [http://www.oxforddnb.com/view/article/26044]
