Hugh del Bois, master, canon (fl.1227×31-1244)

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 57: Hugh was probably related to Radulf and William del Bois. He was probably the same as the Master H[...] del Bois, an arbiter of a dispute at Oxford in January 1228. He was certainly a master by 1231. Hugh held the church of Tullibody (CLA) by 29 January 1240 and had probably held it since 1227×31. He may have resigned it soon after January 1240 when he became a canon of Aberdeen on 28 April 1244. He first appears in Scotland 1227×31 and may have been at Oxford in January 1227/28. He is not found after April 1244.
