Peter Baillard, master, clerk

Biography
Watt, Graduates, 22: Peter Baillard (whose surname refers to his baldness) occurs as a clerk of Bishop William Malveisin. It is difficult to distinguish him from Peter de Maule and Peter of Dryburgh, who were also clerks and masters of the bishop. He was probably the Master Peter who occurs on 6 Dec. 1201 and 1200x02 and certainly occurs at other times with his surname. He was presented to the church of Newton (MLO) in the time of Bishop Malveisin. Was also vicar choral of Glasgow.
